NordFly Cargo is a virtual airline of the NordFly Group Airlines, offering passionate flight simulation pilots the opportunity to fly together in a strong and supportive community.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Hamburg, NordFly has been operating as an official partner airline on the IVAO and VATSIM networks ever since.

Our concept

NordFly Cargo forms the cargo division within NordFly Group Airlines, focusing on both domestic and international freight transportation.

Our concept is based on a simple motto:
“Having fun together.”

For this reason, NordFly Cargo deliberately avoids a finance-based system, hub restrictions, route bindings, or rank-controlled fleet availability.

Free route choice

NordFly Cargo offers pilots complete freedom in choosing their routes. You can either create a custom flight or select from over 700 predefined flights to 112 destinations. Additionally, we provide a rotating summer and winter flight schedule.

Free choice of aircraft

We believe that every pilot should fly the aircraft they are most comfortable with. Therefore, we do not implement rank-based fleet availability. This gives you the freedom to choose and fly your preferred aircraft right after registration.

Thanks to a strong community, virtual flight instructors and mentors, we provide a suitable introduction to the even more realistic simulation world of the online network VATSIM.

NordFly Group Airlines

The NordFly Group Airlines is a virtual airline group consisting of NordFly, NordFly Cargo, and FlyHoliday Airlines. Each airline has its own concept: NordFly as the premium carrier, NordFly Cargo as the cargo carrier, and FlyHoliday as the holiday airline. As a pilot with NordFly, you benefit from the ability to fly interchangeably for the other airlines within the group.

Modern OperationCenter

The OperationsCenter is the heart of our virtual airline. Here, you can organize your flights, access our SOPs and statistics, book tours, and download software and liveries. Equipped with all the necessary tools, including SimBrief integration for route planning, the OperationsCenter provides you with a seamless and exciting flight experience within our community.

NordFly Group Airlines | Discord Server

Our Discord server is the beating heart of our community. This is where all the pilots of NordFly Group Airlines come together to chat, share screenshots, participate in the screenshot contest, plan group flights, join events, or simply hang out in the evenings. Thanks to our strong community, you can usually receive support and help within minutes if you have any questions or issues.

High-Quality Liveries

NordFly Cargo places great emphasis on high-quality liveries and relies on professional partners in aircraft painting. We spare no expense and have already invested thousands of euros in liveries for NordFly Group Airlines, whether for XPlane, MSFS, or IVAO MTL | XCSL & VATSIM FSLTL. Quality comes at a price.

Independence Through In-House Development

NordFly has deliberately chosen an open-source software solution. Our system is based on phpVMS 7 and integrates modules from software developer Faith Koz, along with numerous in-house developments. By hosting our own server, we achieve near-total independence from third parties, ensuring continuous operation and the ability to fully tailor the software to our specific needs.

FAQ – Questions & Answers

Registration requirements:

• You are at least 14 years old
• You are confident in handling at least one aircraft from our fleet.
• You are proficient in the standard IFR procedures
( STAR, SID, ILS, RNAV, LOC )
• You are in possession of current navigation maps.
• You perform 5 flights within a quarter.
• You have a valid Discord account & have joined our Discord.
• Once your account has been activated, you will carry out an accepted first flight within 7 days.
• You do not belong to any other virtual airline.
